When and where are the classes?

Tuesdays  10:45 – 11:45 am

Fridays      10:45 – 11:45 am

These classes are designed for mixed abilities and for those who want to maintain fitness levels, improve fitness and/ or wish to lose some weight and tone up. The classes last for an average of 1 hour and incorporate some muscle strength exercises into a lovely brisk 2 – 3 mile walk.

Location: New Earswick

 

Mondays  11:00 am – 12 noon

This class is designed for those who may wish to go at a more leisurely pace, want to improve fitness levels gradually and perhaps have health issues, such as weight, diabetes, osteoarthritis, to name just a few.

We run a variety of Adventure walks throughout the year which can incorporate the beautiful surrounding areas of York, encompassing the Howardian Hills, the Wolds and the North Yorkshire Moors. They also include some charity / sporting events, such as ‘6 mile Sports Relief’ walk, ‘Grasmere Gallop’ and the Jane Tomlinson 10K.

Every Tuesday  7pm – 8pm

*Existing class, runs continuously throughout year*

This class is for the slightly fitter participant looking for a more cardio vascular workout. The walks tend to be 3 – 4 miles long, class lasts approx 1 – 1 1/2 hours. Muscle strength exercises incorporated.
